About the event
The VAKU Youth Talent Show is a celebration of New Orleans’ next generation of talent. Young people ages 5–17 are invited to take the stage, showcase their gifts, build confidence, and compete for cash prizes and the opportunity to record a song.
More than a competition, the event is designed to give young creatives a platform to be seen, supported, and encouraged by their community. Whether they sing, dance, rap, play an instrument, or bring another talent to the stage, VAKU is creating a space for young people to dream bigger and let their creativity shine.
