On August 26th, the VaKu family help further the research for Amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (ALS), often referred to as "Lou Gehrig's Disease," by donating funds to the ALS Association. The Creator of VaKu stated: "We believe Barbara Newhouse and her staff will put forth a genuine effort in finding a cure to fight this disease (ALS). Therefore, we are proud to join the mass amount of people who helped raised a total of $94.3 Million since July 29th.
